Acupuncture is a safe and effective form of treatment that has minimal side effects. Acupuncture should only be performed by a licensed Acupuncturist. Sterilized disposable needles should only be used when getting treated.

Does acupuncture hurt?2017-12-20T17:15:25+00:00

This is probably one of the most commonly asked questions. Acupuncture needles are small. The insertion of a needle feels similar to a pinch. Patients often say to us, “that was it”! Treatments are very relaxing where patients often fall asleep.

Can herbs interact with any medication I am currently taking?2017-12-20T17:15:40+00:00

Herbs are safe when administered by an Acupuncturist trained in Chinese Herbal Medicine. We take care in understanding what types of medication our patients are taking and prescribe herbal medicine accordingly.

How many treatments do I need to get better?2017-12-20T17:15:56+00:00

This depends on how long a person has had their specific health issue as well as their age and their body’s constitution. We discuss treatment length with you in the first visit when we have a better understanding of the history of your health condition.
